Me and a friend painted this C30 this weekend. The truck has a 292 six banger with A/C , power steering, and power brakes. Radio delete, dome light delete. 40,000 miles on it. its a cool little truck.

First time shooting paint in 8 years.

We used another friends paint booth. He has his shop full of all kinds of projects.

We shoot straight enamel paint on it. Owner bought the paint. No clear coat.

Ahhh, I get it. Work Truck, Cheap Out Single Stage project. Being White it should last longer unlike a dark color that will absorb heat. Buff it out, keep it waxed it'll last a few years.

Geared right, that 6cyl that can handle anything a 350 can, just a bit slower.

It has a sm 465 trans and 4.56 gears. It does ok, but the owner wants to buy a tbi 350 that I have, and hire me to put it in. The carb on the 6 banger keeps getting trashed by ethanol fuel. Can't find a quality crab kit. The truck is only run a few times a month, and the fuel has played hell on the carb, fuel lines, and fuel tank. When I convert it to tbi, all that will be changed.

Shame he wants to ditch the 6 banger. Like Jim would say, slap a TBI on that I6.
