My oil pressure gauge isn't working. It's stuck at 60PSI. I was trying to find the sending unit and my service manual tells me it is on the left front side near the distributor. I don't see it. Shouldn't it be in the block somewhere. I take left side as drivers side of car.

The truck is a 1980 K10 with a 350 in it.

Can anyone help???

Thanks,

Tom

Left rear corner, on the driver's side.
Behind the head.
1/8" pipe thread.
Tight spot to reach in to, but not impossible.

A little clarification on sender vs. switch. Also, if you can't find your sender behind the distributor, look down on the side of the block just above the oil pump. I think that is where the were located in the early 80's:
