OEM Wheels

I have a set of 8 lug OEM wheels from a 2005 3/4 ton GMC I would like to use on my 3/4 ton 1984 GMC High Sierra 4x4. The wheels have the GMC hub covers. Looks like there may not be enough clearance to go over my automatic hubs on the old truck. First off will the offset be acceptable for the application? Any ideas on making the cover work on the front? I think they would lok nice, besides I just bought them for $100.00 off Craigslist for the complete set.

Try it first, Im not sure about the 8 luggers, but on the 1/2 tons, the center has to be machined larger.

They have a little more backspacing, but they fit fine. You will have to attack the front center caps with a hole saw.
