I’ve been driving my NV4500/LS swap and recently tried to engage 4 low, couldn’t get the transfer case to move properly and now it’s stuck somewhere between gears or in neutral. I can’t force it up or down into 2H/4H.

What can I do to diagnose/fix my issue?

Is it the alignment? I recently redid my clutch and had to pop the shifter out to get to the transmission so I totally could’ve messed something up.

Edit: after reading I’m thinking I’ve misaligned the shifter. Going to look up a video on how to properly set it

Most likely in neutral. Disconnect rods set everything to neutral including shifter and adjust properly

Seems like the NP208 & NP241 have a snap ring on the tailshaft that will pop out of it's groove & this allows the entire cluster shaft to move back & forth in the case. You may check that.
