So I don't know jack about electricity, but I plugged my radio back in and went to put it in the dash and when the metal stereo touched the metal dash sparks went a flyin. Wtf is the problem?

Nevermind. The dipshit didn't hook up the ground wires. Just let the stereo ground out against the dash. But the stereo doesn't go off with the key, I have to pop the faceplate off. What wires do I need to switch to correct this?

Well I figured that part out. Got the bezel put back on. Now the damn oil pressure gauge doesn't work. Stays in the 3oclock position.

It is probably not just the oil pressure gauge - it's probably the coolant temp and gas gauges too. But they don't show a problem as fast as the oil pressure gauge.

Check the fuse labeled GAUGE/IDLE (4th from the bottom, 2nd column from the left). A lot of times, when working behind/under the dash, this fuse gets blown.

Coolant temp went **** up last week, but the wire for it under the hood is burnt and cracked. I will check the fuse.
