Hey names David or DEades, I've had an 1985 Chevy K10 Outdoorsman Edition for about 2years now bought it off my father in-law who could no long drive a manual per medical issues. Love the truck its had a few upgrades before I had it. It originally had a 305 in it. And they switched it out with a 350, I'm not sure what the 350 came out of. I was told the transmission that came in it is no longer made so when they changed the engine they changed the transmission which now leaves me with a hole in the floorboard since the new transmission stick didn't line up to the old hole. The rear end has been changed 3 tines, idk if its from pulling to much weight (they used the truck for farm use and landscape uses hauling a trailer) or if the engine is to big for the stock rear end. Since I've had the truck I've changed the radiator, thermostat, hoses, water pump, solenoid, headlamp change from halogen lamps to projection lamps, and done some body work trying to get the rust under control before it gets outta control. The only rust she has is surface rust in the bed, and the rocker panels. Which from the trucks luke it around here that are all original its by far in the best/ less rust condition that I've seen.
