Just wanted to introduce myself quickly, my name is Alan I live in Northwest Georgia. My son and I are building our second square body. This one is a 1985K 20. I was wondering if anybody locally has the brackets that go between the clamshell part of the motor mount and the block? These brackets are four support for the aluminum scatter shield on the 700 R4. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In regards to your question on brackets - are you talking about the ones that the bar attaches to for the transfer case? I have the same truck and thats the only brackets I can see in that area.

Thanks for the reply, the brackets actually go from the aluminum dust shield that covers the torque converter and they go forward to brackets between the engine mount and the engine block.

Here’s what all the parts look like. This is on eBay and I believe it’s almost $400 for all of it. All I need is one of the triangle brackets

Those brackets are very hard to find. I have a set, but they are not for sale. I've only seen one other set in all my years of working on Squarebodies.
