Do I wire the green wire to the starter solenoid?

NO! This is a single wire solenoid. i.e. the switching valve that is mounted to the frame. Looks like this...

Welcome from LA (Lower Arkansas). I used the American Autowire harness in my 77, was easy to install and works great. Unfortunately I can't help you with the switching valve wiring, I am using a single tank. I am sure someone here will have what you are looking for.
