Hi , just joined. Seems like a wealth of knowledge here and hope to tap into it as I progress with my new project.
Just bought a 1987 K20 Sierra. It's a 350tbi with a 400 th trans, Has a Dana 44 up front and a 9.5" 14 bolt out back. The body is in great shape with a few bruises from it's previous life as a plow truck . It was a 1 owner truck that has sat in storage since 1997. Truck was used in winter only and park for the remaining duration of the year. The original owner oiled it every year before storage and the underside is as solid as they come.
I plan to rework suspension with a 4" kit and replace the original 16" steel wheels with some Classic 3 M Ts. Also have a 502 that should fill the engine bay up a bit more. Hope to post some pictures as soon as I can figure out how to.
