I have an 83 Chevy and would like to replace the seat belts. Anyone know of good aftermarket belts that will bolt in, look, and function correctly? Or will belts from a later truck bolt in? (I have bench seat regular cab) Thanks for your replies.

I haven't seen any that I've been happy with. The generic looking ones bug me. You may want to look into belts from an early 90's S-10, they look and mount similar. And I know the buckles are the same style too, I put buckets in my truck and used S-10 center buckles with factory C-10 belts.

The seat belt assemblies have a shorter, wider look in later 80's and early 90's gm fullsize (starting in 86 I think, just what I've seen in junkyards) and match color with whatever interior you have.

It takes a Torx 47 or 50 to get them off another truck, but you can use your old hardware in the new assy., if you wanted to.
