New Owner Saying Hello From MA

Hello everyone!

I'm a new K10 owner here in Mass. Recently Picked up an 87 K10 stepside. Had planned on going for a lift and 35's and calling it a day but we all know plans always change. Anyways, to make a long story short I found some serious frame rot hidden under some bondo!!! So now I will be doing a complete frame swap on the truck. I'll be starting another thread here to document my project but wanted to let everyone know to keep an eye out for my thread. I look forward to sharing my experiences with you all and learning as much as I can along the way! Here's some pictures for ya.

Thanks Stew! The body looks pretty good. New rockers and cab corners ect. Then again I thought the frame looked decent when I bought it! You live and learn I guess.

Yep, looks like you could use a new frame. I'm sure curious to see what's going on with the shock peeking in that pic. I'd like to see what it's doing. I have a feeling it's for axle wrap control and I'm interested in seeing that set up. Hopefully you've got more pics in the build thread.
