i recently came across a overhead console at a swap meet, im pretty familial with the console because i have newer style trucks. but i thought it would look cool in my squarebody. it was only 5 bucks so i couldnt go wrong. i had to cut all the renforcement ******** off the back and buy different lights. i just ran a hot wire to the lights and they worked like they should with the buttons. well heres the pics sorry abt no progress pics.

Yeah Man,I have been on the watch for the bigger square body Suburban overhead consul, without the heat/air controls, just cubbyholes and doors, with lights.I thought a while back I had one but the feller **** on Me and I "threw and shoved" his **** out of My garage,I`m still watching for one.
I want to install an old CB radio in it and have a few pockets for trinkets.LOL

I've been thinking about a 1991-96 GM U-Van overhead console. It seems to match the contour of the roof inner section and short enough to fit.

I've got a '99 with the same overhead console, just the other day I was wondering what it would look like in a square. Now I know!
