The axle has already been broken down and all parts cleaned primed and painted. Iʻm in the process of putting it back together already.

I just did everything you are speaking of a week ago. I would definitely take off the steering arm because it makes it easier to access the knuckle while pressing the ball joints in. I had to put my ball joint tool in a vice and its kinda hard to rotate as is. Knuckle is heavy too so its just better for you to remove that guy. Its easy to put back on anyhow. Also, check this site for good deals on spindles:https://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/ . Your choice in moog parts is right on. Others with the exception of spicer will fail early and we don't need the extra work and cost. I got my chromoly drive shafts from Dennys: https://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/. You can get your bearings & races off amazon quickest and cheapest. Ive found if you cant find a set on Amazon (Always use Timkin BTW) you can get good prices at https://www.summitracing.com. same goes for the seals. I used ACDelco rotors for the final steps of the rotor and MM hubs because the price is outstanding and the quality is just as good as Warn. Stainless looks amazing as well. Message me if I can help with anything else...always happy to chat about Dana 44s!
