New here,help with tire sizes

New here,thanks for the add. Just bought a 1986 1 ton diesel double cab dually, 2wd,plan on converting to 4x4 soon but atm in need of tires and I'm not sure what size to get,How big can i go on this presumably stock vehicle without rubbing? I plan on doing a small lift eventually and want to get big enough tires to look good with a 2-4 inch lift. Tia!

no worries, man i only posted that I moved it so that you'd know for next time. It's not all that intuitive to folks who are new so no worries. You're certainly not the first and definitely won't be the last

I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan,this truck is from the South here,I've seen a couple few of these around,but not many... None were in this good of shape, what do you think it is worth running,driving, everything works,although everything does need maintenance,power windows power locks,etc. Odometer says 79,*** and looking at the interior i think that may very well be possible, any thoughts on price?

I run those on my wife's 3/4 ton 4x4 Burb and love them. They aren't too awful noisy and traction in rain, dirt, mud and snow is very good. We've been running them for a little over a year now and they are down to around 30% tread, but we've also put 45k on them already. If I would have rotated them more often, they would have a little more tread left on them.

I plan on replacing them with another set of the same.
