I've always loved square bodies and finally got the chance to purchase one! :party36: I found a 1979 K10 with the 305 engine for what I considered a reasonable price and jumped on it. I know next to nothing about these trucks, just always admired them. The K10 I bought starts up and runs fine, I actually drove it to work today. I was wondering if you all could let me know what are some common problems, what I should look for, tips and tricks, ect. Thanks guys! :)

Welcome to the forum! I grew up in Northern Utah myself (Brigham City / Mantua area), and I sure miss the snow!

Got any pics of your truck for us to check out?

Cool truck! As far as common problems go, they like to rust in the areas where yours has rust. The earlier ones had a tendency to develop kinks in the hoods so if yours is still good, it may behoove of you to purchase a hood brace kit for it. I can't really think of anything else. Even if problems do arise, they are usually pretty easy to fix. These trucks are as tough as nails.
