350runner let me know about this place so here I am. Currently have an 89 K5 blazer, and recently sold an 82 SW with 383 and an 86 SW. Wouldn't mind finding another one. I also have a couple of 72 Buicks to go fast in.

Welcome! I like quadjets too. Do you know where a guy guy can get back cutting reamers for the throttle shaft bores for a reasonable price ?

Hey Mark. Carb is running top notch. Had a couple problems getting it to idle but I with a couple adjustments, I think I have the bugs worked out.

350runner, I bought the truck in all original tired condition. So I replaced all the suspension components, steering and brakes. 4 inch all spring lift, and added the tires using stock wheels. Engine/trans still remain stock at this point.

Not for reasonable price really. I use a special cut drill bit and set the depth. It has worked well for years, and I use it on every Quadrajet I build. Check with cliffshighperformance.com I don't think he list his bits on the site, but I do think he has them available to purchase. Cliff has good quality parts.

Here is what I use. It's the cut drill bit I referred to earlier. I cut the bore, and install bronze bushing on every build.
