New C10 guy here

Hi folks! I just picked up a beautiful '86 c10 yesterday after many months of searching for a clean, rust-free rig that could take me back to those days of my youth when I would ride around with Grandpa is his square-bodied Chevys.

I've been browsing around this forum for a while and it seems like a great place with a vast resource of knowledge. I'm happy to be a part of it all.

I've attached a pic of my new (old) gal...

It's an '86 Silverado, 133k miles. Frame-off restoration 10 years ago, very original except for the wheels and exhaust... Both of which will soon be replaced.

Howdy, I'm in Ohio too! For whatever it might be worth, I think the current wheels look great!

Thanks, they're not terrible... The spinner center caps are really not to my taste, however. The backplates for them have the lug nuts jammed up too. It'll take a bigger impact than I've got to get them off, and I'm afraid to see what all the nuts and studs may look like when it's all apart.
