need help with paint

well I am in need of some help, I am wonder how much paint you think i will need I have the truck in white primer sealer because i am going with an old syle paint job ill try to post a pic of what im thinking. im going with hugger orange and white 2 tone. I know i need to paint the whole truck white first and then lay down the orange. i am doing 2 stage paint. i am also painting the interior.

it all depends on what style 2 tone you are doing but i would paint the stripe color first mask it then paint the rest of the body then pull the masking and clear coat it

its easier to mask the stripe then it is to mask the whole truck

i would buy a gallon of white base coat usally reduces 1 part paint to 1 part reducer 1 gallon should give you more than enough to paint inside and out even in the bed

and a quart of orange would give you 2 after reduceing it

and most clear coats if i remember are a 4 to 1 to 1 clear/hardener/reducer a gallon should be enough for your truck

i like to have more then i need so i don't run out in the middle of a paint job so i might be telling you to much but not by much

and the mixing ratio may be different by manufacture of the paint you buy
