Hello, I did take a lot of pics before I tore my truck down for restore, "but" apparently I didn't take enough. I want to fill in all the holes that are not factory in the metal part of the dash. Truck is a 78C10 Scottsdale. Single tank. I hope my pics are enough, i can take better if needed. My dad had an equalizer screwed into the dash in the 70's/80's so I know a few can go but I'm not sure about the rest. Any help is appreciated.

The yellow marks in the second picture are not original, fill those. The red marks to the left of the column in the second pic are for bolting up the parking brake release. The red marks in the first picture, all those little holes are OE. I'm not exactly sure their purpose but my truck has them, may be something to do with access for the original radio install

I don't know about all of them but some of the holes along the lower edge of the dash to the right of the column are for an optional manual throttle controller and a radio support rod.

Here's a couple of pics of the throttle controller. I'm unsure which hole it was but one of them had a support rod that went to the back of the original 1.5 DIN radio (I'm pretty sure it was the one with the unpainted ring around it).

Wow, great pics, thank you!! That's the color this truck was originally, Mariner Blue Met. Now that I see what holes I need I may fill in the unused ones (maybe).

Arrr, new phone pic size rejection....
This is my '78, it's a Scottsdale, so maybe less holes/options?

Mine's a 78 Scottsdale also, holes are similar. I'll fill in all that I don't need, I can't stand a bunch of excess holes (although nobody will care or notice but me, ha). We had this truck since new, dad had fog lights on it back in the day so there was a switch mounted somewhere, he prob used an existing hole. I just didn't want to fill them all in only to have to drill out again.

I woulda thunk the ones marked in yellow would have been the remnants of something like a C.B mount.
Now that you mention that dad had a cb in it at one time! I totally forgot about that. I remember it being a JC Penney radio. Thanks.
