My aftermarket mirrors had the grommets fall apart before getting them installed…. My Dad cut a grommet from a multi size kit in half so it slips down over the gap.I'd be l9oking at grommets at home depot etc.
Well I didn't want to get too,ghetto,not saying yours was,but you can make a grommet by slittng a piece of vacuum tubing lengthwise and feeding it into the opening. Depending on what it's being used for superglue the exposed ends together..My aftermarket mirrors had the grommets fall apart before getting them installed….
