Metal pieces in NP 208

Howdy,
I found little metal pieces in my transfer case (np 208). They look like there from maybe a thrust washer? I didn't notice much fine metal particles on the plug magnet. Everything is working fine. Should I worry about it?? Thanks.

Just kidding, it was for scale.

It looks like a washer bit of some kind.

Nothing to worry about. GM put extra parts in the transfer cases because the factory wasn't air conditioned.

Better start planning fer it cuz you're gonna need another one.
