Mega Fuse Mounting Location

I'm doing a American Autowire harness in my '77 C15 and looking for best place to mount mega fuse junction. The firewall right next to hvac seems most logical. Anyone have experience why this is a bad spot?

Or maybe passenger fender is a better spot?

Maybe you have a totally different location you used. Just making sure someone doesnt have more experience with a better mounting spot.

I put my fuses down on the inner fender well but was trying to keep it low profile, the fender is the more serviceable spot and closer to the battery too. Just make sure it’s clear of the hood hinge

CalSgt that is a nice clean install. I did read that having it closer to the battery is ideal.
