This is very important info for when you’re installing a new GM style compressor to the factory lines because the ports on new compressors are stepped, rather than flush like on OEM units, and you need the sealing washers to compensate and the pilot inserts if yours didn’t come with any. If you don’t follow this (e.g. stacking washers), you will develop a leak at the manifold. Autozone also sells washers and pilots in kits (ex. Santech MT2236), and while their PNs don’t correspond to the Four Seasons ones, the color codings do.
