(1985 C10 SWB with LS3 6.2 Engine) Quick Question. Forgive me if the question has already been pounded to death. Just curious what everyone is using for fuel line. Let me clarify, not so much fuel line, however, are people running hard lines off the engine (single feed fuel rail) to the corvette filter/regulator on the frame rail, then to the fuel tank/internal fuel pump? Or are people running flexible hose throughout, from engine to the corvette regulator/filter to the fuel tank/internal fuel pump? Didn't know if it was crucial to run hard lines or if these "flexible fuel kits" everyone seems to be offering will be just fine. Once again, thanks for the input. Shane

My truck is GMT-400 hardlines from the tank(with about 12" of factory flex line to the sending unit) all the way to the filter. At the filter it switches to Evil Energy -6AN braided line up to the fuel rails, from the fuel rail return to an adjustable regulator, then from the regulator output to the hard return line near the filter. It honestly doesn't matter much, but I would be tempted to just buy a roll of hard line if I didn't have anything and make my own hard line from the tank to the corvette filter. I would use braided from the filter up to the fuel rail. I'm assuming you are using a factory E38 ECM? If so, I would also wire in an E85 sensor in line between the fuel rail input and inlet hose. I have an L9H 6.2 in my Suburban and it LOVES E85. I wishe they had more stations here in the PNW, because it is usually cheaper and the truck runs much better in the summer and while pulling with E85 in it.

I've had the Evil Energy -3 braided soft lines for 5yrs and 60k miles with no issues. Super easy to work with and I just use those rubberized P clamps to secure them to the frame.

I've also been running soft lines for years, mine are Parker 601-8

I ran hard line from about the firewall to the filter pressure regulator close to the tank. Flexible at the ends to allow options. PAC-625 is a good hard line to use. When I ran mine I just bent it by hand to fit the frame. 'Course when I did my swap it was $28/25' of 3/8'. Forgot it's stainless also lol.

I have a slightly different setup (no in line filter/regulator) but I ran Earl's Vaporguard EFI rated soft line for feed and return all the way from the rail to the tank switch valve.
