Lowering question

I have a 86 c10 and want to lower it but not sure how much yet, so is there anyway of doing some drop with out buying anything . just maybe cutting coils out and removing some shackles?

You can lower it a little without buying anything. You can cut one round off the front coil springs for 2in and you can relocate your leaf spring hangers up on the frame 3-4in. Anything more than that will require lowering parts or much more fab work.

Load a cubic yard of sand in the bed of the truck. You can get about 5 inches of drop to the rear. :waytogo:
