I was wrong on the spring size (they were 2" but needed 1.5") so I fixed it in my original post. These were the parts I ordered-

1 x​	McGaughys 2.5" Drop Spindles 73-87 Chevy GMC TruckSUV 33154 (MC33154)	​
1 x​	McGaughys 2" Front Lowering Coils 73-87 Chevy GMC C-10 33128 (MC33128)

Tetanus has 2" spindles and 3" springs up front, and a flip in the rear. Gonna raise the front an inch because it hits the inners as you turn....

It's too low for stock inners, but not bagged low. I'll raise it an inch and send it down the road, the next owner can decide what they wanna do.
That red truck is too raked for my taste, but it looks good.

If you're not opposed to cutting springs, buy a set of stock 454 springs and cut a coil off. The stiffer big block spring provides a decent ride even when cut.

Front: 18x8 with 245/45 and a 1.5" spacer
Rear:18x9.5 275/40 and a 2" spacer
Spacers are made by BORA @ https://www.motorsport-tech.com/bora.html
Brings the wheel/tire combo out near the edge of the fender.

You said, 'Off the clock." That's funny. I was off the clock 2 years ago an here we are, still going.

I know its to long a go i posted but i'm curious to see if you drop your c10 like this one on this picture you posted, how much did you drop and how came out.

Turned out good. If I were to give anyone advice, make sure you have headers for passenger car (I used Chevelle) and a low profile transmission mount to tuck up the exhaust. I just ended up using CPP lowering springs. I’m still sorting out what front shocks suit my roads (just bought a set of Bilsteins). If that doesn’t work out, it will be a fact that it would’ve been better to just pony up for a set of adjustable QA1 shocks to tailor it to my u.

I did not c-notch. Later on when I get a chance, I can try to find links to all the parts I bought, but here’s what they are. I believe I got the front parts from Classic Parts (which is a branch of OER, or vice versa).
Generic 2.5” lowering spindles
CPP 2.5” front lowering springs.
CPP tubular control arms (Summit)
UMI rear flip kit (Summit).

The UMI flip kit comes with low profile bump stops. You remove the stock bump stops, and they give you the measurement to drill the hole for the replacement bump stops.

That will get you started.

My 84' C20 is lowered with axle flip, spacers, cut coil springs and drop spindles. It went down VERY low for a static drop.

If you have serious reservations about a c-notch I get it, but if it's the difficulty they are very easy to do. The kids come pre-cut do you just clamp on, weld and cut out the original frame between.
