A guy I work with has an '04 Ext Cab w/a 6cyl in it. He's put duals on it w/tips, 3-4 inches of lift, and 35" tires on it. We all told him he was crazy, but it was paid for and he didn't want to buy another truck in 4wd to do what made sense. He loves that damn thing, mostly because he likes how it rides and sits up. All that to say, it's a personal choice, but I think the squares look stranger lifted in 2wd form than the newer trucks. Just my opinion.
