My 86 k10 has developed a stalling issue. When I start it up and warm it up then go into drive and move it a little bit then go into reverse it stalls out, I can restart but then the idle kicks up and almost stays in high idle and it takes me a few blips of the throttle for it to come down and if I don’t do that I have to stand on the breaks to keep it stopped until I get the idle down.

How long do you warm it up? Choke needs adjusted.

Besides choke, there should be 2 choke pull-offs that can be adjusted. When a carb is rebuilt there are base settings however every engine is different. Most times a little tweaking is needed.
