Started running the new line to the rear today. Stainless line from "The Stop Shop" that I picked up at Summit yesterday. I've very pleased with the quality of this line so far.

Been a while since I posted an update. Took about a month off of the project for some travel and going back to work. Doing some little odds and ends at this point. Finally got around to getting the proper battery mount and some detail work around the intake.

Dropping this picture over in this thread. Replacement block for to rebuild the original engine from this car with. Basic 010 4 bolt block. Seems decent at first glance.

Haven't checked up on this thread in a while. You're making good progress on the Z28. Kinda makes me miss the '80 Camaro that I drove for five years back in the late '80s.

One of the things I like most about this car as a project is the availability of parts. Things can still be found at local parts stores. Which, I find amazing for a 45+ year old vehicle. Broken speedometer cable and they had one on the shelf at Autozone. Universal, but it still will work.

Been a while since I posted on this thread. Got the heads that I salvaged off that original engine back from the machine shop today. Came out really well. Welded the deep score in the one and cut them .008 to match. (And yes before you comment, I have them sitting on the floor in our spare bedroom until I get a clean place to store them in the garage....LOL)
