K10 ls swap help

I have a 86 k10 with 305, 700r4. My donor is a 2006 tahoe with 5.3,4l60e. I'm having a real hard time finding info on this swap. Tons of info on a c10 swap but nothing on k10. What am I missing? Seems like there is some reason that no on is showing k10 swap info. Do the spines of the 4l60e not mate to the 208 transfer case? Can you swap the output shaft of the 2we 4l60e with a 4we 4l60e? Do the bolt patterns not mate up? Is there a spacer that can be used? Does the transfer case mount not work? I'm just very confused as why you can find anything out about the c10 swap but can't find any videos on the k10 swap. Thanks for any advice!!!!!!

if your donor is a 4wd tahoe, it will be a direct swap. The 86 700R4 should be a 27 spline output and a 6 bolt pattern to attach to the t-case adapter. The 4l60 should be exactly the same, even the same length of output shaft. The only thing you would need to do is put a pass through signal generator on the 208 speedometer output so that you can keep using the cable driven speedometer and also have the VSS output for the 4l60 to be able to shift properly when in 4lo.

If its a 2wd 4l60, then you can probably just take the tailhousing off and cut the output shaft to the same length as the 700r4 one when you take it out. That's what I did with my 4l80 swap.

A lot of people google, search forums, etc with a question or long winded when they could find the answer faster with only a few KEY WORDS. Nothing meant to anyone, just a tip.
