interior light

my interior light went out and i dont know if its the fuse or my wires and i dont know which fuse is which in my truck

You can check all the fuses with a test light, or pull them out one at a time, interior light fuse should be a 10amp IIRC.

There's the main dome light and then the lamp under the center of the dash. If the bulbs are good, and neither lamp works when either door is opened or the headlamp switch is rotated, it's probably just a bad fuse or maybe a broken wire.

It changed from year to year and different models, but the dome lamp often shares the same fuse with the horn, cig lighter, and radio memory.
