I'm not sure what to make of this. Maybe I'm wrong, but that vin tag says it's a '75. The vin tag is also held on with the correct rivets, as if it's never been touched. But that is very clearly a '76-'77 body tub, based on the floor style and that crudely sawed off b-pillar.

Yeah, someone could have swapped the tub and did a careful reinstallation of the vin tag with the correct style rivets... but why do that if not taking the time to deal with the top of the bed rail?

Also I know that there is/was a parts truck, i was offered, and still could possably get it and the frame from the previous owner.

But I know the previous guy said the guy before him "coustomised it and made it into some sort of camper deal" no clue.

It's '76 or '77 because the half cab (which has been cut off) started in '76 and starting in '78, the rear passenger area gained a footwell. Your tub doesn't have that footwell.

Have any pictures of the windshield posts or header? There's got to be signs of welded seams somewhere.

No clue what a header is, sorry, but I mentioned earlier that the upper half of my windsheild frame was welded on. Its clearly a replacement from the donor, along with the doors.

I can get it ti be flush in the back, but then the wing window has a massive gap, bigger than passenger, I got passenger side aligned just fine.

Also no doir seals, no seals anywhere.

I had similar issues with my passenger side door. I'd suggest putting the fender on to see how that looks to get some more insight. It will tell you roughly where the front of the door has to be (within the adjustment range of where you can put the fender) and it might narrow down your options which may or may not help. I did get my passenger door to line up but the A pillar is out more than I'd like but it's not bad. Until you know where the front edge of the door needs to be, you may spend a lot of time lining up the rear only to find out that the front doesn't work.

Went to barett jackson today. Figured out how I want to make my truck look, picked out colors and intirior whatnot.

Figured out my truck is definitely... or was a half cab. Someone must have swapped the vin.

But I dont really care. As far as I, everyone else, and the goverment is concerned, its a 75 blazer.

Ill just have to grind down the extra bits and finish patch pannels over the b pillars.

So yall were right, turns out it was the body mounts.

When I looked i just looked kinda from above, and saw the mounts were new, but never looked from below till I was pulling the tranny out. Turns out there wasn't a single bolt holding the truck onto the frame, it was just set on there, and was a solid 2 inches to the left.

So I moved it over got new bolts, next day me and a freind went at trying to re allign the doors and fenders, fenders were good had trouble with the door, decided maybe the rear body mounts were too short, jacked the rear up, yup. So I put some thicker body mounts in the rear and spent about 2he allighning the doors and fenders.

Pannel gap is better than my c10, its nice and straight and not large. Doors even close 20x better than my c10, they close almost better than on my brand new f150.
