Would a 14 bolt on a K30 be a Dana 60? I want to identify what I have so I can build it up to handle about 600 HP and 1,000 TQ diesel. It's a single rear wheel, but I'm toying with the idea of a dually, I just prefer the look of the single rear wheel. I plan on making this truck into a hauler. Any help would be appreciated.

A 14bolt axle has 14 cover bolts. A Dana60 has 10 cover bolts. SRW 1-tons had a 14 bolt full-floating rear axle and a Dana 60 was used up front. They can handle the power you are after, unless you are going to beat on it off road. Then plan on upgrading the front axle shafts and hubs.
