I screwed up my gas pedal

Somehow, during the dissassembly of my 79, I messed up the gas pedal.

It had some kind of bracket on it that seemed overly large and complicated, and I threw it out

So today when I pulled it out of the garage, the pedal was so close to the floor I could barely push it down, it had almost no travel to it at all, although I can easily go WOT by hand on the carb.

So, other than go to the boneyard and get another bracket, does anyone have any insight for me?

I just have the three bolt clamps now I threw the big bracket out.

Turns out it was just from my new floor panel being all cockeyed lol, but thank you for the help!
