HVAC controls lighting

My control thing just has one light on the right side. Are there supposed to be 2, or just one light for the whole face of the controls?

While we're on the topic of dash lighting, does anybody know anything about a fiber optic light or something? Where does that go?

I put an LED bulb in mine. Lights up awesome but flickers. Gotta put a new one in. Pesky 194 leds.
