Hello All

New member from Arlington, TX. Longtime truck and car enthusiast. I have been tinkering with cars since my dad had me as a gofor 35 yrs ago.

My baby is a 1987 R10 Silverado w/ a 350/700R4. This truck came into the family last year and will be a lifelong member.

I'm a flight technician by trade. In my off time, I like to buy, tinker with, and sell classics as a side gig. For now, I have been concentrating on square body Chevys.

My current project is a 1982 C10 Silverado LWB. It has a 350 4bolt main and I think a turbo 350 transmission. I'm getting ready to pull the motor so I can work on it and paint the engine bay. I'm about to install new heads, gaskets, piston rings, and rod bearings.

Working on trucks and cars is my passion. I have been a mechanic as long as I can remember and have had my own shop in the past. My dream is to turn my side hustle into a full-time gig one day.

I can talk about the flight simulator tech stuff, but it might be kinda boring, lol. We do a lot of setting around, waiting for them to break. If they don't, I spend 10 hrs a night researching parts and classics to buy.

I do plan on documenting the build of the black 1982. I will start a build thread soon, and may even include building my A-frame for my chain hoist. I am actually using parts of simulator visual mirror stands to make it. I got those for free, I jut had to buy the chain hoist.
