How does hood to cowl seal attach?

My cowl seal is all smashed and just randomly laying in there I think. Maybe I will replace it. Keep that engine heat out of the cowl and spilling as bad back into the cab I guess
May as well. Pretty cheap and easy to take care of

Looked like plastic shaft push ins, not metal clips like I was thinking I saw y'all useing on here for them. Guess I need to look to see what kind they are.

Looked like plastic shaft push ins, not metal clips like I was thinking I saw y'all useing on here for them. Guess I need to look to see what kind they are.
The LMC one I bought came with white plastic push clips pre-installed

Starting in ‘81 the seal attaches to the hood

The plastic wire loom behind the brake booster at around 4 oclock has a loose ID band on it, and the loom itself looks kinda dirty.
WTF??

Ok then those are the same ones. All the parts are probably from the same China source

Bringing this back. So, I know on 81+ the cowl seal attaches to hood, but is there another that attaches to cab & under cowl? I don’t know what this is for.
