how do you remove a broken zerk??

so i was workin on the add a leaf setup, bending the bars that hold the leaves in place... and i accidentally hit a zerk. so any of yall know how to remove a broken one?

Zerks are hollow so no drilling, just stick an e-z out in it and turn it out.

Zerks are hollow so no drilling, just stick an e-z out in it and turn it out.

i tried... it would just slip. i even whacked it with a hammer to jam it in but still wouldnt work...

What's the zerk go to? If it's really that big of an issue that you can't get it, you can needle grease it, then put a dab of RTV over it and call it good. This all depends what it is though. I sure wouldn't do that to a U joint.

Use a reverse drill bit that is significantly larger than the hole in the zerk.
