How do i remove this universal joint?

Use a propane torch and heat those little plastic pins until they melt and then use a hammer and socket or whatever you prefer to push out the caps. Use the C clamp style u-joint for replacements.

Just be aware, sometimes the caps can explode off of the u-joint if you heat it up too much. Ask me how I know...I still haven't found the cap yet. :D
Just be sure to point the cap away from yourself while you are heating it, and wear safety glasses.

While heating the shaft, that plastic will come out of the holes like one of those black snake fireworks things, but, sometimes it can come out of there with force, splattering it wherever it may land, be sure it is not in an eye ball.

I read some where you were in need of this... you know I have it for the next project...

Nice U-joint removal tool.
