Quick question about horn repair. Has anyone successfully repaired an original horn that wasn't working? My high note horn isn't "beeping" and I don't want to use a universal horn. Original horns seem hard to come by.

Yes, I've mechanically tested the horn.

Thanks in advanced.

Sometimes tapping them with a hammer can get them going again.

My daily driver beater car is a 02 neon. I drive it to work, saves the Ram from door dings and other parking lot battle damage. I HATED the little puny horn that it came with. I got some used horns from a big Cadillac and mounted them on the neon. Now I have horns with authority!! I’d hit the local salvage yards before buying aftermarket horns.
