hood wont close! help!

today i got a new(to me) antenna and put that in so i had the hood open. tried to shut the hood and it wont shut all the way! it only catches the emergency latch! i dont see anything getting in the way, and the hood isnt bent or anything, help!!

Now this is ratherly unusual, most time it is a "My Hood Wont Open" thread.
Might be that the "Latch" is tripped into the "Latched" position.
The latch needs to be Open, in other words, the V shaped groove that the catch falls into should be open all the way to the bottom and the latch in the ready to catch position.

okay well i now know im a noob.. haha. i guess i left a bolt in the front corner and the hood was hitting that and keeping it from shutting.. oops
