Hey all

Forum newbie here in England, UK. I recently bought myself a square body from the state of Georgia. Should be shipping out of Charleston tomorrow and with me in a couple of weeks. Chevy pickups are rare beasts over here and I'm really looking forward to getting behind the wheel of mine. I used to own a blown 92 454ss a few years back but made the mistake of selling it. Hopefully this new addition will fill the gap.

Its a 81 C10 with 454/TH400. Fingers crossed she arrives as described. Pics and report to follow!

Adam

Hello from Arizona! To bad you sold the 454SS, there could have been two of us with those trucks on here. Are you on the NATC forum?

You should have just moved to GA to be with your truck instead of uprooting it from it's homeland! J/K

Since it's shipping out of Charleston just give me the container number and I'll have a few of my ILA friends remove the truck and replace it with an old rusty Ford. That way I can return it to it's natural habitat in GA! J/K Welcome!

I am blown away that he had the rarest of pickups, those are hard to find in the states and even then they cost an arm and a leg.

In person, I have never seen one.

I have never seen one in public except for one I saw in Reno at a dealership that was for sale.... 20K is what that guy was asking. I stopped and got pictures.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Lol.

Btw, I would rather stick pins in my eyes than drive a ford truck! Its bad enough that the c10 is sharing a box with a Galaxie. Ha.

Yeah, I used to be on the NATC forum. I designed their shirts a few years back too.

And believe me, anything with an engine over 2 litres is rare here! Maybe something to do with our ridiculous gas prices and over priced road tax.....

Whatchya got against galaxies?!?! My wife has a 64:happy175:

I watch alot of top gear and have gathered that fuel there is around seven bucks a gallon in our currency. So if you are buying 'Merican trucks and getting them shipped there can I get cars from there sent here? What I really want is a Reliant Robin.
