HELP

I am looking for the mounting location of this part. The truck was delivered in pieces and I am not sure where it goes. I have only found one picture of this online so far and they are describing this as a fresh air door. Please let me know if you know.

70's? It goes under the wiper cowl. Above the firewall on the outside.

While I'm just a junior grade, I think you will find that lives either in the passengers side floor board (opposite of where the park brake lever assy lives) or somewhere around the heater box. But I think PrairieDrifter nailed it.

Try looking up your truck on LMC, they have some excellent drawings of assemblies and subassemblies that can help give you a heads up as to wtf.

It could possibly attach to the hvac box inside. Don't know why someone would remove the whole panel.

I've personally never pulled the vac pod from under the cowl so I'm not 100% certain. That's just what it looks like to me, from my small amount of time looking at the cowl pods. I've only got one 70's truck with factory a/c and I haven't had to touch it yet.

It looks like one I just removed, but the angle is a little difficult to be sure. If it is … There’s two or three small screws at the end of passenger side wiper cowl. The longer side with the angled flap fits down to allow vent air to the passenger side.

There should be a (unless someone removed it) small vacuum reservoir right near it.

I am not seeing how this would fit in the cowl, it's too big. Does anyone's have any other ideas? Or pictures would be better. I had the dash torn apart and I am not seeing where it would go in the either. See attached pictures. The one pic has a prt number but i cant fi d anything on it. Thanks in advance.
