Help plz

At the store right now and I need an alternator for my 81 crew cab. I put a 6.2 diesel from a a 85. The store doesn't have any 6.2 alternators so can some one quick tell me if a 350 altenator will work

There were two different size alternator cases that GM used then, so as long as you get one the right size, it will work. You can look up other GM applications too.
