I'll post a video shortly... I got some things to fix here and there.
Exhuast leak at the primary, ps pump apparently got overlooked on one of its bolts to hold it to the block, couple other really small details.

I will post a video here and on my build thread.

Ain't a damn thing wrong with this ol holley!!!!!!!!!!!

Not with a exhaust leak at the primary.

I have to fine tune some things on it, get the timing and idle correct, once all that is safe and it's good and broken in, I'll have a video of it at 5000, or higher.

The couple times I did Rev it up, it was just at 1800.

Quite simply.... The reason it wouldn't fire was the idle screw was adjusted WAY to far closed.

Had nothing to do with varying voltages, or any of that other bs I originally thought.. Once I started opening the throttle blades, it came to life.

I was thinking like a old school carb and barely having that cracked, wasn't considering in the idle air control valve in the whole mix.

I DID inspect the plug wires, only to find the 1 nick in the wire, I wrapped it up real tight.

Timing was set originally at TDC, 10 degrees BTDC, I ended up advancing it, probably 3-5 degrees.

I don't have an assistant to turn it over while I put my timing light on it, but I figure I'm somewhere 13-15 degrees base timing.

Here's the video I mentioned about setting the idle speed/IAC percentage

Have to straighten out the Exhaust and minor other details, then I'm gonna go ahead and fire it up and let it warm up to operating temperature, get the idle set right, all that.

It's gonna be fun!

Thanks man!
Turns out this crazy mf could get it running amongst a cluster f of wires , with a little help of course...

That was all the motivation I needed to continue the project, next milestone... Making it run and drive.
