Greetings Chappy78! I am also from WA ST. albet on the "dry side," Naches area. Your truck is also very similar to my K20. If you are ever over this way, give me a holler. I farm and ranch, so K20 is a work truck, hauls a trailer with hay and equipment with a 325 Dyno Hp 350. Cam is a bit to big so my vacuum at idle is low which effects my brakes, the only prob. Have a Weiand Stealth manifold, same mufflers, (sound excellant,) TH350. I purchased my truck from a young fella that only had it eight mo., new babyand etc. He bought it from the original owner, who bought it new with reup money from the Army, (Vietnam vet.) He later spent the rest of his life as a logger in your neck of the woods, so this has been a well used truck. I have a 454, and a built 700R4 going in it this winter as I finally got my shop built. Love those Cooper tires, excellent in the snow. Give me a yell if you are ever over this way. My name is Craig
Thanks, Craig! I had a friend whose street/strip car ran an auxiliary vacuum pump for that reason. I'll definitely keep you in mind if I head over towards Yakima.

My is also a Custom Deluxe. I put neoprene seat covers in mine, durable and water proof as I haul my dogs too. Did yours come with a Dana 44/66? make sure you get a jack on your stereo so you can play through your phone. I am a long way from town, Upper Wenas Valley, so reception is good with Iphone VS radio. Givin' me the itch to tear into mine, but got to finish my electrical, in the shop first.

Correction:

It has the Dana 44 and 14 bolt (not Dana 60 as I mentioned before). That's good advice about the stereo. I have a VDO stereo leftover from another project that has blue tooth and an aux jack.

Very nice project. You will have no issue mounting a frame mounted hitch under that bumper.

Thanks, Larry. I test fitted the Curt 13028 hitch with my stock step bumper and the top of the hitch receiver interfered with the bottom of the horizontal steel plate on the bumper below the license plate. I would have had to shim the hitch 3/4” down to the frame to make it work which I didn’t want to do. I bought a new standard non-step bumper from Brothers which fits perfectly with the frame with the hitch in place with no shims or spacers needed. I’ll be getting to that project very soon.
