Hello everyone, I'm new here. Currently trying to restore my 1986 Chevy c20 that I bought last year. I have owned several square bodies over the years. My first one was a 1982 K10 that was all rusty but she got me from A to B and hauled everything i needed her to. Sad to say I blew up the motor one day and then sold it to a family member that I regret doing. Anyways, I am having a slight issue right now that I can't figure out. Maybe someone can help me. I bought a MPE16007 fuel pump and a FG05M hanger for my truck, Everytime I turn the key to ON not RUN, I loose about 1.5V do I need to wire in a relay or no? On a completely second problem, I ran new fuel line (hose) from the drivers side tank across the frame to the stock fuel rail and to a bypass regulator, and i'm flooding the carb. along with a possible voltage draw with the key off? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
