Welcome from Central NC.

My "first truck" (1969 C30 pipefitter's truck that had been sideswiped by a train -- $60) had a 292 into an SM465. I figured it needed a rebuild because it smoked so much. Drove it 200 miles down the interstate on about 6 gallons of dirt-cheap oil, leaving at 3:00am so as not attract too much attention. When I finally tore it down, it turned out the piston rings had all broken and fallen down into the oil pan. All of them. You'd be amazed how well it ran once I put rings in it. Heck of a motor.

Big town ain't it.lol
I spent most of my first 22 years in Moorman, KY about 45 miles north of Russellville. Much smaller. I remember going down Hwy 431 as a child to visit family in Nashville, TN. I always thought the town square at Russellville was neat.
