Just picked up a standard k10 swb w/ a sbc 350. Working on getting it roadworthy; it has been sitting for some time. The truck runs and rolls, so feel good about that. I har been lurking for some time just to make a to do list; this site has been great for that.

Here are a couple of photos of it being dropped off. Overall the truck is in good shape, with some rust behind the cab.

Current plan: fix all the broken bits and replace the standard with a 4l60e/80e, keeping this shifter on the floor.

I don’t know yet, I haven’t looked. Either way, at some point it is coming out. The weird thing is I can drive a standard, I just want the truck more user friendly driving in traffic and such. I’ll post up more details when I look at it more today.

Welcome from NC. if its a NP833 with a hurst shifter it is rare. no production numbers are available. RPO code MM7 or MY6. my 84 C10 has one, RPO code MM7. it has close to the same gear ratios as a 700R4. 4th gear is a .73 OD.
