Heater box question

I need to install my NOS heater box in my 81 . I had to go to the junkyard to find the retention screws that hold the heater cables to the inside of the box . But strangely enough they do not go into the holes . I ordered some from LMC but am worried they will not work either. Am I missing something here?

Are we taking a heater only box or heat/ac box

This is heater only with no AC. The settings are OFF HEAT DEF.

I should have clarified better . I mean the actual control switch box that you use to turn the fan on or turn the switch to hot or cold .

I'll have to take a good look at the one I have in the garage to get a grasp on this. Try to remember to do it tomorrow.
